AMEDIS
is the UK Leisure Machines industry standard for Electronic Data Interchange
(EDI) in the area of Machines Estate management. AMEDIS is sponsored and supported
by BACTA,
the Industry trade association. BACTA works with the industry to achieve industry-wide
standards, systems and services.
AMEDIS
is administered and managed on a day to day basis by AMDeX Solutions on behalf of BACTA. AMDeX Solutions has developed software,
AM-e-Com,
and the file exchange service, AM-XMaster, to satisfy the electronic trading
requirements of the industry. The system is used by the majority of the industrys
Retailers and Machine Suppliers who together form the AMEDIS
EDI Community.
